Has anyone used aftermarket valve shims? Do they seem OK?
We use the ProX Valve Shim Kits in our Service Department and on our Vet Team 4-Stroke bikes. They seem to be doing just fine.
KTM is going to recommend you only use their OEM shims for obvious reasons. Last I checked, they were very pricey!
I've used Hot cams before and they were fine (2 different bikes). My friend ordered a ProX Valve Shim kit for me and they look good.
When I needed shims for my 950 adv, the OEM kit was $300!
