Lc4 Shifter (shift lever) Replacement

Anyone can help me, I'm looking for something better than stock to replace the shift lever on my Lc4, which I've had to replace twice now...

Seems they bend pretty easily, although not very easy to fix/bend back to shape. And at $52 to replace, not too cheap either...

Bike is a 2005/6 KTM 625 SMC if that helps..
