Lc4 Engine cases

In a random incident, my left-side engine casing became deeply gouged, where the shift lever contacted it, just below and in front of where it has "Lc4" milled into it.

How much do these covers cost to replace and is there any difference between the older, black Lc4 cases (that came on the duke II for instance), and the newer, gray Lc4 case on my 2005 SMC?

The last 2 digits of a part number (the 12th & 13th digit) is the color code. The best way to find what colors are available is to search using the part number prefix (the first 11 digits).

Either of these Clutch Covers should work just fine:

5833010124423 CLUTCH COVER CPL. GREY '03 $144.92
5833010124430 CLUTCH COVER CPL.LC4 BLACK '03 $142.33

KTM Color Codes:

30 Black

04 Orange

20 White

28 2011 White

23 Grey

68 Husaberg Blue

Thanks Jamin!

That is very helpful and much appreciated!

Now my problem is to decide whether to go for the Black replacement, and know that I will have to get the other side in black as well to match, or to order the grey one and go back to the way it was before...

hmmmm...

with so many things going black on this bike as of late, that's gonna be a tough decision!
