Brad Bakken's Sandlapper Enduro Race Report

Going into the first National Enduro in South Carolina I was confident and ready to
start the season off right. In the first test of the day I didn’t ride my best but I was
still able to pull out the fourth fastest time. The next two tests I rode smart and
consistent, getting fast times. I was sitting in third overall going into the fourth test
where I had my only tip over of the day and overshot 5 turns. Somehow I ended up
winning that test by 4 seconds over Lafferty. After that test I moved up into second
and knew if I kept doing what I was doing then I could stay in my position. I rode the
same as I did all day in the last two tests finishing the race in second overall. I am
pumped on my result and excited for the next round in Louisiana.
I am currently down in Florida training for the first two GNCC’s coming up this
following week. Look for me out on the XC-2 line number 522! See you guys there.
